Equipment as essential as IV pumps, surgical scopes and diagnostic scanners are available at Guelph General Hospital only because of generous financial gifts from within the community. Donors make such a difference to the care we are able to provide at Guelph General Hospital. Donors help fund every piece of patient care equipment we purchase… the tools our caregivers need to provide comfort and caring, healing and curing to our community.

Much to most people’s surprise, patient care equipment is not funded through public dollars.

Kind and caring gifts help fund every piece of patient care equipment at Guelph General Hospital.

Equipment as essential as IV pumps, surgical scopes and diagnostic scanners are available at Guelph General Hospital only because of generous financial gifts from within the community.

In March of 2021, in loving memory of our daughter, we established the 'Make Your Mark Foundation in Memory of Kayla Chadwick’! Our family has continued to honor her memory, and raise awareness and support for Epilepsy and SUDEP (Sudden Unexpected Death in Epilepsy).

All funds raised through this foundation will be granted to Epilepsy and SUDEP.

Founded in 1990, the David Suzuki Foundation is a national, bilingual non-profit organization headquartered in Vancouver, with offices in Toronto and Montreal.

Through evidence-based research, education and policy analysis, we work to conserve and protect the natural environment, and help create a sustainable Canada. We regularly collaborate with non-profit and community organizations, all levels of government, businesses and individuals.

We are humbled that Canadians consistently name the David Suzuki Foundation the country’s most credible and reliable source of evidence-based environmental information, and consider us the lead organization working with government and business to resolve critical environmental issues.

Always grounded in sound evidence, we empower people to take action in their communities on the environmental challenges we collectively face.

We empower children and youth by connecting families with opportunities to build hope for lifelong change and break the cycle of poverty. The Children’s Foundation of Guelph and Wellington is a local organization helping local families.

We invest in children today through our four programs: Adopt-A-FamilyFood & FriendsFree to Grow and Scholarships to build brighter futures tomorrow.

More than 3,000 volunteers work with the Foundation in one way or another. To best serve our community, the CFGW works closely with social service agencies, local municipalities, school boards and other organizations.

Your support of the Children’s Foundation of Guelph and Wellington is an investment in the health and future of our community, an investment in brighter futures.

It is important to us that no student is turned away due to financial cost. Our hope for the future of Beyond Borders is for everyone to be able to take part in this amazing program. A portion of the proceeds will go towards reducing program fees for future Beyond Borders students to ensure that we can continue to welcome every student who is enthusiastic and community minded looking for a unique semester that will prepare them for the future
